14 troops from SU10 gathered together at Camp Arrowhead for the return to Service Unit Camp!
Over 150 total girls, and countless leaders, parents, and volunteers came together in early June, 2023 to celebrate return to camp. Many had never been to camp before, and many had not been in years. And of course, there were some that had practiced camping recently, a time or two :) But all together, there was an incredible group of Girl Scouts, joining to get that Camp Arrowhead experience.

Activities Galore!
There were so many things to do, we all slept really, really well. Troops took turns in a phenomenally organized rotation of activities: archery, rock mining, rock climbing, tye dyeing shirts, canoeing, arts and crafts, field games, and songs. Then there was the traditional campfire, complete with song books, gratitude sharing, and skits...and of course s'mores! Individual troops also had down time to explore on their own, have fun with troop activities (one troop painted camp rocks and hid them around camp for other girls to find), and there were scavenger hunts, and of course--lots and lots of food. It would never be a girl scout event without all the snacks and food! Truly a wonderful weekend of outdoor fun for all.
Camp Memories
This was truly a spectacular return to overnight camping for many of our troops. Many thanks to all who helped organize, implement, and support the fun that this brought to all our Girl Scouts. And a huge shout out to troops 10344, 10620, 10733, 10734, 10735, 12311, 12404, 12406, 20473, 20753, 30473, 40462, 40473 and 45703 for attending and helping us bring back Service Unit Camp with enthusiasm!
